OneTouchPoint, Inc. Cyberattack

June 27, 2022

Health Advantage has learned a former vendor that provided services to some of its members has been the target of a cyberattack. This incident potentially allowed hackers access to 6 affected members’ names, addresses, dates of birth, provider names and medical information. Member Social Security numbers were not accessed in this cyberattack.

The cyberattack occurred at OneTouchPoint, Inc. (OTP), a printing/mailing vendor for Matrix Medical Network (Matrix), a company that provided member services for Health Advantage. OTP had members’ personal information in their computer files that may have been exposed in the cyberattack.

It is important to note that the OTP cyberattack did not involve any of Health Advantage’s computer systems or data. This entire incident was limited to OTP and its computers and records. Neither Matrix nor OTP currently perform any work or services for Health Advantage.

Letters will be mailed on June 27 to affected members providing them with detailed instructions on how to sign up for 12 months of free identity detection and resolution of identity theft and credit monitoring services.

Our goal is to maintain the privacy and security of our members’ personal information and help protect members from any harm from the OTP cyberattack. We take the protection of our members' information seriously and are committed to helping our members through this incident.
