Paytient
Paytient is a flexible payment account that allows Affordable Care Act (ACA) members to access and afford care without delay.
Paytient gives you the confidence to pay for out-of-pocket medical and prescription medication costs over time. With no interest or fees, you can set up a repayment plan that works for your budget and can be spread over 12 months.1 Payments are automatically deducted according to your preferred schedule.
Eligibility does not require a credit check and does not impact your credit.2
Use the card to pay for:
- Provider visit copays
- Medical treatments
- Mental health services
- Prescription medications
- Overdue medical bills
- Over-the-counter essentials (bandages, cold and allergy medicine, feminine care products, etc.)
Here's how much you can access if approved:
- Single policyholder: $500
- Policyholder with spouse and/or dependents: $1,000
Once approved, you can instantly use your virtual Paytient Visa® card on eligible healthcare costs until the physical card is sent to you.
1 The Paytient card is a line of credit that is subject to approval and works with providers in approved merchant categories. The provider self-selects their merchant category, and in some cases, might not be categorized as expected. All charges made to the Paytient card must be repaid according to the terms outlined in the cardholder agreement. Please note: the Paytient card cannot be used to pay health insurance premiums.
